《Boulez 100 in Taipei》Performance Highlights

On November 1, 2025 (Saturday) at 14:30, the concert “Boulez 100 in Taipei” was successfully held at the National Taipei University of the Arts Concert Hall.YoYo was invited to participate in the performance, presenting two works by Pierre Louis Joseph Boulez (1925–2016):Dérive 1 (1984) and Messagesquisse (1976).

As mentioned in the previous article “《Boulez 100 in Taipei》Honoring a great French composer and conductor — experience the magic of modern music”,Messagesquisse (1976) is written for seven cellos, a highly challenging and richly layered piece.

The rehearsals for it were therefore exceptionally rigorous and detailed.
