Autumn's Feeling - Li Xianglan - Cello cover by Koji Tamaki In 1989, the Sino-Japanese co-produced TV series Farewell, Li Xianglan! (also known as Goodbye Li Xianglan) was officially broadcast, with Yasuko Sawaguchi playing the role of Li Xianglan.
The theme song is "行かないで" (Don't Go) composed by Tamaki Koji.
The theme song of the film was later adapted into a Cantonese pop song "Li Xianglan" sung by Jacky Cheung.
In 1993, the lyrics of "Li Xianglan" were rewritten in Mandarin and named "Qiu Yi Dian", which was included in Jacky Cheung's album "Kiss Goodbye", which was both popular and well-received. This song was also used as the Mandarin version of the interlude of the movie "Chinese Zodiac" (sung by Wu Guojing).
This song is very suitable for cello. It has the same melody but different emotions. The emotions that are suppressed until they burst out in the end!
I hope everyone will like this classic Chinese song!
