The Yueqin is a traditional Chinese musical instrument similar to the lute, popular in East Asia. The song, written by lyricist Li Tong (also known as Lai Xian), and composed by Su Lai, was specifically composed to commemorate the legendary Taiwanese folk music figure Chen Da.
