《The Phantom of The Opera》Suite Collection

 The Phantom of the Opera is a well-known musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Weber. The script is adapted from the love thriller novel The Phantom of the Opera written by a French detective novelist. It won seven Tony Awards in 1988 and is one of the most successful musicals in history. The story describes a love story in the Paris Opera House in France in the 19th century, the love story between an ugly, masked musical genius and a talented bel canto singer Christine.

 This musical is full of classics in terms of both its setting and music. This time, we have invited composer Chen Youwen to cleverly string together six familiar pieces from the musical and adapt them into a medley of The Phantom of the Opera suites. Each piece reflects a different emotion in the plot, and uses powerful orchestration to make the music as tense as the climaxes in the play. The ensemble of violins and cellos is like the affectionate duet of the characters in the play. We hope that the audience can travel through those classic scenes and musicians together and pay tribute to them together.
